AppleCare+ covers repair or replacement of your Mac. This includes up to two repairs for accidental damage, for which a service fee of €99 applies for damage to the display or the outside of the housing or €259 for all other damage, as well as repair services for batteries that have less than 80% of their original capacity. The service includes:

(1) Local telephone charges may apply. Telephone numbers and business hours may vary. We reserve the right to make changes.

(2) AppleCare+ hardware protection begins on the date of AppleCare+ purchase. If AppleCare+ is purchased up to 60 days after the Mac is purchased, AppleCare+ hardware protection will not be valid until that day. Technical support starts after the 90-day standard Apple coverage period begins from the date of purchase of your Mac. Both types of coverage end after 36 months from the date of purchase of the Mac. The availability of service options depends on the country in which the service is requested and the location of the Apple Authorized Service Provider. Equipment sent for repair may be repaired or replaced with new parts of equivalent functionality or reliability. Apple may also require customers to replace easy-to-install components (DIY components) themselves.

(3) The service is available only for the Mac and original accessories provided and provides protection (i) for batteries that have less than 80% of their original capacity, and (ii) for up to two accidental damage repairs, each subject to a service fee. If your Mac has suffered serious damage following an accident or is no longer operational after unauthorized modifications, a replacement unit must be purchased.

4. Technical support shall provide access to technical consultancy services for which the customer would normally be charged fees.
